What’s Going On at EnergyPoint, You Ask?

As the leading provider of independent research and market intelligence on customer satisfaction in the global oilfield supply sector, EnergyPoint Research is continually updating and improving our approach to serving the needs of our subscribers and the industry as a whole.

So, with the end of another busy year fast approaching, we wanted to bring our readers up to date on some of the exciting developments and initiatives underway here at the firm.

  • Enhancements to Website – We’ve added a number of new features to the EnergyPoint Research website. These enrichments help make the site an even more valuable destination for those looking for market-based insights relating to the oilfield supply sector. For example, our Oilfield Insights blog (you’re on it now) helps readers stay abreast of performance and other developments at many of the industry’s largest suppliers. We’ve also added a website page where visitors can view the latest top-rated suppliers across numerous oilfield product and supply categories.
  • Combined Ratings & Analysis Reports – We recently introduced a new format for our Oilfield Services Detailed Ratings & Analysis Report. The 600+ page layout offers comprehensive ratings, analysis and recommendations related to each of the 30 oilfield service and contract drilling suppliers in a single bound version. The publication, a must-have for both participants and followers of the oilfield supplier sector, has become the standard for the oil services sector. In the future, we’ll be publishing Oilfield Products and Midstream Services reports using this new format as well.
  • Annual Total Satisfaction Award – With the 10-year anniversary of our first-ever survey coming next year, we’re excited to introduce the new EnergyPoint Research Annual Total Satisfaction Award. This handsome award stands 13” tall and will be given annually to those companies rating highest in customer satisfaction in each of the five industry categories we cover.   • Oilfield Perspectives Tour Having collected and analyzed tens of thousands of evaluations and over half a million data points related to oilfield supplier performance and customer satisfaction since 2003, we’re hitting the road to share what we’ve learned. Our new Oilfield Perspectives Tour focuses on ratings, rankings, trends and implications from EnergyPoint’s independent customer satisfaction surveys. Learn more here.
  • Survey Updates & Expansion – Currently, we conduct customer satisfaction surveys in five primary segments of the oil and industry: oilfield products, oilfield services, offshore drilling, onshore drilling, and U.S. midstream services. We’re currently implementing several changes and improvements that will broaden and deepen the collection and distribution of our survey data. In 2014 we’ll provide opportunities for survey participants to rate their suppliers in two new segments: seismic services and digital technologies. Stay tuned.
